Really, today was fairly slow. We are FINALLY out of the hotel! Kiko is happy, but I'm undecided. Normally, this would be a good thing...but we still do NOT have furniture. :/ Which means, we have NO BEDS.
To semi-solve this problem: we took a field trip to Walmart (which is like the center point of AR apparently). We grabbed sleeping bags, food for the next 3 meals (since we still don't have a fridge), a trashcan, random other little things, and we argued over future paint colors for my room. X) (My mom was very happy that this was STILL less than another night at the hotel...less happy after trying to take a nap on the flimsy sleeping bag.)
Otherwise, it was a cleaning the new home kinda day. Plus, I worked on my homemade planner (which I apparently COMPLETELY messed up the other day :/ every day was off by one for TWO WHOLE MONTHS ><''' ...thank goodness for whiteout ;) ).
Now: for the exploring :P Supposedly, we have a trail in our subdivision (as well as a pool, though that is currently MIA). We thought this one place was the entrance, so I wanted to go check it out. Mum and the pup tagged along and it actually looked really nice...until at the top we realized it was actually just somebody's backyard O.o Yup, you heard me: the mini-trail was someone's PRIVATE trail. ...Needless to say, I freaked out and we rushed back down. :P That's all we need: getting arrested or meeting up with an Arkansonian with a shotgun! Since we're out of the hotel, I'm actually updating from Hastings. I'm so glad they have one here! (But I have yet to see if their hot chocolate is as good, so that will be my next quest!)
