The past two days have been pretty chill. :) Yesterday, we hung out and watched some movies, Columbus Circle and The Woman in Black. The second of which, a horror staring Daniel Radcliffe, made sure that I woke up at 4:30 in the morning. ^^' Let me explain:
I can't say I like horror and I am one of those people who FLIP OUT when they watch them. I mean, they have to be SOMEWHAT scary, but if they're scary, I WILL scream, jump, squeak, hide behind whatever I can find, and surely have nightmares. Nonetheless, I try to watch the ones I think won't scar me for life in hopes I'll become desensitized enough to watch the good ones. :P The Woman in Black isn't by far the best or the scariest movie: it just has a lot of things that make you jump...which are what scare me the most. XD I also am the kind of person who screams things like, "DON'T GO IN THERE!" "IT'S NOT OVER, IT'S NOT OVER!!!" and "THERE SHE IS!!!" so my uncle was enjoying my overreactions more than the movie itself. ^^''' The funniest thing is that I overreact to the weirdest things. For example (spoilers follow), when I watched Drag Me to Hell on Halloween, I was fine the whole movie up until the scene where they were trying to put the evil spirit into the goat. As soon as that rope snapped, I lost it. And I mean LOST IT. XD All that was running through my mind was: the devil goat is loose and it will run rampant on our world. I mean, I was flipping out as in crying and shaking. My parents of course just laughed. :P Also weirdly, I don't have nightmares about the MOVIE. I have completely unrelated disturbing dreams and images. So I have been tired all day. :P
Good thing: we went and picked up my Canadian cousin today! She's just a couple of months younger than me, but we haven't hung out in YEARS. I can't honestly say we were ever SUPER close, but I think she's pretty cool. Now that we're older, hopefully we can hang out a bit more.
Once we picked her up, we just did some chores, watched A Little Bit of Heaven. I still don't like SAD "romantic comedies" but it was cheesy and funny as I like my girly movies so it was ok. ^^ We also watched the soccer game, Mexico vs El Salvador. VIVA MEXICO!!!!!!!!! GANAMOS!!!!
No idea what we're doing tomorrow, so until then!
Hasta lluego,

And They're Off!
A day at the horse races. <3 How I love those horses so.......when they don't lose me money. :P Yes, we went to Arlington Race Track or whatever it's called, all 11 of us. It was major fun, despite getting booze spilled on me (thanks to my aunt), the burning hot sun, and losing so much. XD I thought I was gonna be super in the hole, but I won two of my last three races! (Thank goodness.) I ended up only being $2 down :P (each bet was $2 by the way). It's hilarious though: I look young enough to get in free as a child, old enough to get asked if I want booze, and young enough again to get majorly glared at by the woman behind the counter as I checked in my bets (you have to be 18 to bet). Jeez. I'm all over the board. XD
When we finally got home, my cousin and his two munchkins were waiting. Gosh, they're crazy! Not in a bad way, they are SUPER cute! But they're really bright and fun, so I ended up spending more time with them than with my cuz (which kinda sucked so hopefully I'll see him again soon).
Speaking of parents: my mom called after she got the picture of my pink streak (the clip on that I didn't tell her wasn't real). Expecting her to freak out, I was like "What's up?" In classic Momma style though she's all like, "Did you dye your hair? I was asking the girl who cut my hair, and she said she would dye it for $20. We looked at some pictures and I found a really cool one where you could purple strands in it and it would look really good with your dark hair. I showed it to your father and he thought it was cool. Or if you just want to do your tips like you said, we can do that in whatever color. If you wanna do it when you get home or I can send you the picture to see if you like it and get it done there." XD Seriously, she just laughed when I said they were clips. I really might dye it if it's as cool as she says it looks though. :) But gotta love my parents: instead of freaking out, they are looking at dye jobs without me and saying how cool they are. :D She really misses me though, she would NOT hang up. Truth be told: I miss her soooooooo much too. ^^
Don't miss me as much as her!

Scrambled Eggs
The last two days have been quite busy. :)/:( (I don't know if busy is a good thing or a bad thing. ><')
On Friday I attended my first "real" Quincenera. And by real, I mean they went ALL OUT. First was the mass which was all done up.....but basically no one attends the mass because, well, its mass. Basically everyone there was part of the court (as in, all the girls and all their partners) and some family. I can't say I totally enjoyed it. I hadn't realized it's been so long I went to church, I had no idea what to say! ^^' (Didn't help that it was in Spanish either :P) The girl's dress was pretty nice. Super princessy but all in blue. What I was shocked was how much weight she lost just from the picture on the invite! She looked COMPLETELY different!
Later was the party, which I was SUPER Psyched about! I couldn't WAIT to get on the dance floor! .....Which was closed for the first hour and a half we were there. They took forever doing the pictures and then they did all the little things that signal the transition from girl to woman (but really they just added extra stuff to do which just seemed weird). Then came the court's dances.....which they were all terrible at. XD They messed up a lot, even though they were basic steps, and were never all on time. Finally came the dancing! ...And nobody danced. There were two good songs, but an empty dance floors. Even then I would have gone on.....save the cameras ever waiting for a victim to film. Yuck. Then the band came on and they were TERRIBLE. Too loud, whinny saxes, and no one knew what they were saying. Just terrible. Needless to say we left early, and I never got to dance. :(
Yesterday, my aunt came over to breakfast and the strangest thing happened. The doorbell rang and I was sent to answer it. There was this girl, only a couple of years older than me, super skinny and European, asking if we or anyone else in the neighborhood had rooms to rent. O.o Apparently, she had come from Lithuania with some friends and were staying in a motel, but the motel was too expensive so she and one friend needed a room to rent. Of course I said no, and when I recounted the story to the table, my aunt (who's a police woman) said it was fishy, so she ran out to talk to her. XD When she came back, things just got weirder. Apparently, the girls planned to sell books (like text books) door-to-door and needed a place to stay for a while. Worried that she might be in trouble or got stuck in some scam, my aunt went back out to find her...but she was gone. Hopefully she's ok. :/
After that, we went to the store (because I broke my glasses ^^''') and I bought some cool colored hair extensions. :D I was gonna buy temporary dye, but these were on sale so I figured I'd try em. They are pretty cool ^^ I like them. Then we had a barbeque at my other aunt's house and I looovveee their dog Petra! She reminds me of Kiko XD (Even the jumping on me as soon as she thinks I'm leaving :P).
After dinner, we decided to go watch Snow White and the Huntsman. I was dragging my feet the whole way there because I knew exactly how it'd be: cool special effect, an average plot, and Kristen Stewart would ruin it all. Sure enough: Kristen Stewart had the SAME face in 9 out of 10 scenes! I mean, every time! A giant troll? Duh -o-. A majestic fairy? Duh -0- Childhood love? Duh -0- About to die? Duh -0- Jeez. All I wanted to do was laugh! The Queen on the other hand was totally AMAZING. Charlize Theron OWNED it. See: just replace Kristen and it would have been fine--just like I said before. >.<'
Other than that: we've been looking for ways for my cousin in Canada, Krystal, to come over. The plan was to drive up to Toronto and meet her (she lives in Montreal) but now she's flying straight in. So I no get to go to Canada. :( Super sad.
So overall, busy has equaled disappointment. Whatever. We'll see how the horse races go today :P
Have a better day than I have been!

Sharpening His Wits
Chicago has been lovely my dears. :) I will admit, it can get quite boring at times. (Thank goodness for television! Although I kinda miss my beloved Hulu which I haven't visited in a while. D:) We've been having fun!
Today we visited Chinatown!!! I LOVE CHINATOWN (in case you don't know) and since there is NO good chinese food in AR, I literally FILLED my stomach full of msg-saturated goodness. <3 I swear, I was in LOVE. Even the fifteen minutes of walking around the area looking for this elusive restaurant my family went to last time (when I wasn't with them) and in the end settling for where me and my parents used to eat all the time when I was little (Three Happinesses which I was totally happy with cuz I LOVE that place!) was totally worth it. :D I got beef and broccoli and beef fried rice ALL FOR MYSELF. ^^ After chowing on that for a bit, I still had fried rice to bring home. THEY SENT IT TO GO IN THOSE LITTLE CHINESE BOXES!!!!!!!!! I WAS SO PSYCHED!!!!!!!! (Those boxes seriously make the food taste better, I swear. :P) After that, I went to my favorite gift store where I found these adorable bags. :) Since I had to choose only one, I got this purse/book bag one (it's kind of in the middle, but I'll probably use it as a purse ^^). Then we went exploring, checking out all the stores. We were there for a bit, so it was really nice. I also got my favorite little bear cookies filled with chocolate. ^^
Later, I went with my aunt to check out the location where she's going to start her bakery. It's still just the bare lease, but it's bigger than I expected. .....Just, knowing my aunt, I'm afraid it's going to stay that way for quite a while. ><'''
After doing some Just Dance 3, chilling, eating more fried rice, and more chilling, me, my aunt, and two of my cousins (my little bro and my only older female cousin) went out for ice cream. My little bro would only eat Andy's, so after we got his we went to Overwise for me and my cousin's. It's a pretty cool place because we got to play Yahtzee there......until the place were closed and they were waiting on us to finish the game. XD So all and all, pretty cool day. (Btw, yes, the diet is out the window).
Couple of days ago, I was stressing over the math placement test for OSU. The practice q's were unbelievably hard, so I assumed I was screwed and began studying like crazy. Yesterday, I just gave up and went ahead and took it. ..........Super easy. Not even joking. Glad I had studied complex numbers though, because I don't even think we ever learned all those stupid rules. :/
Other than that: my cousins are hilarious. The "baby" (3 years old) is crazy. He runs around without any pants or diapers the ENTIRE time we're home. He can't really talk yet (we don't know why) so his random words/phrases/mystery sounds are hilarious. My little bro has become snappier and snappier. I say it's because I'm sharpening his wit and making him argue with me a lot ;). Or I'm just annoying him. Probably both. He needs to though, because he's super spoiled and needs to suck it up. XD Well, I'm spoiled too, but still. ^^' I scared him the other day by telling him about Mad Cow Disease. :P FEAR THE PRIONS!!!

Then the Devil Brought Me Tortillas
Hey everyone! Guess where I am :). In Chicago (whoop whoop!)!
Honestly, me being here is the result of last minute decisions and much complaining. I had promised to visit my family when they came down for graduation: but everything had gone undecided. We were trying to figure out how to balance out costs with my need to be at OSU for orientation at the end of this month and my want to visit Texas (especially if my parents have to go down to look at the house which is still unsold). I had wanted to go down for graduation, but that was already too much. :( So on Thursday, we finally decided to leave on Sunday. Even though we all came to this decision...my dad became cranky by the evening. At first we couldn't figure out what on earth is wrong with him: but we think he just realized his little girl who will be gone all of the school year was leaving for a whole month, so he got sad. X)
Before I left AR though, I got to see my fawesome friend Uniqia! I had so much fun at her house and finally watched Sherlock Holmes 1 (seeing as I already saw 2 :P). I seriously hope I get to see her when I get back :/. I didn't realize until AFTER I LEFT that I probably won't get to see Matilde before she goes back to Italy because I won't be in AR before then. D: Sadness.
The trip here was no problem. We drove all the way out to Branson because and it was cheaper. We were wondering why there was an airport out in the middle of nowhere in the moutains: turns out the little place is for the rich people who live in the area. :P It was really pretty even though it was miniture. There were even koi fish to feed at the gates. X)
Now that I'm here though, I can't really say I've been doing much more. I mentioned in an earlier post that I was doing the Special K challenge........well that's basically out of the picture. ><' First off: yesterday and the first half of today I didn't have any of my stuff. I had my snacks that I brought with me, but because I've been eating with the family, I haven't had those calories to spare. Yesterday I made breaded steaks...which I have now been eating for just bout every meal because we made so many. Plus Mexican rice, and also pollo (chicken) for dinner. What's really killing me though are the tortillas. While there are many pluses to being Mexican: it sucks to diet because I eat tortillas like they are part of the air I breathe. With no problem, I can eat at least 5 in a sitting. YIKES. Plus: no Kiko means no walking, means no exercising. I shall get fat: and if that is the case I have no idea why I am no eating oreos right now. To make it worse: no scale means I have no idea where my weight is and whether or not I can risk a few more calories or not.
Besides getting fat: I love hanging with my cuz. He's dysfunctional as usual, but he's a blast just as well. :D
Promise to still keep you updated :)

Oh so Artsy
Yello! I told y’all I’d try to update more often. :P
Well summer is here…but I’m unsure what to do with it. Normally
I spend my summer’s traveling (at the very least up to Chicago to be with my
family), but because everyone is so busy and our current lower-than-normal
money supply, I dunno if I really even want to do THAT. Which makes things
somewhat difficult because I need to go up to OSU for orientation at the end of
June…so we’ll see how that works out. ><’’’
Since I don’t know what to do with my summer, I’ve felt like
I’m slacking. I’m not the kind of person who wants to sit around doing NOTHING
for a WHOLE SUMMER. My parents don’t want me to get a job though (which kinda
stinks because I could use that money to go study abroad which I really wanna go do) and I couldn’t find
any internships/summer classes in the area. Basically: I’m very limited on
options.
good with my hands. But it did keep me busy for a bit! ........and used up a whole glue stick but whatever.
Also
strangely I wrote a poem in Spanish.
I haven’t been in a Spanish class since Junior year, so my grammar’s probably
terrible, but, hey, it was good practice for fall! Here it is below:
Los Pàrajos
Entrò como un pàrajo
sin sus plumas,
Desnudo,
incapaz de vuelo,
horrendo,
y rapidamente corrì
afuera de la attenciones de los observadores
ninguno que vì en
primer lugar,
pero no pudìa escapar
de mis ojos.
Observò la manera en
que caminò,
Torpemente,
Vergonzosamente,
Sin esperanza,
y querìa gritar a todos
“Mira! Mira la persona sin vida en sus
ojos,
Sin espíritu en su cuerpo,
Quien entrò no para atención, ni para
ayuda.
I even finished my fanfiction You'd Be Surprised: COMPLETELY! Such a relief! I've been writing it for 2 YEARS. :P If you want to read it or my other work my fanfiction account is VampireGaaraCheesepuffs so just follow this link: www.fanfiction.net/~VampireGaaraCheesepuffs
Other than my artsy-ness. I'm doing the "Special K Challenge". I actually was already just counting calories and exercising, but my mom was like "We should do this together!" and I said I would so she would. ...Now she's basically just counting calories like I was before and not following the challenge. Whatever. X)
I have lost 2 pounds though! (But I think my other dieting may have helped with that....) Probably cuz I beat my DDR game. ;) Also, I've been reading a lot...mostly manga, but still. :P We also went and watched Wrath of the Titans today at the cheap movie theater, too much computer animation for my taste. Another thing is I've been dressing up (even if I don't plan on going anywhere) because it makes me feel more active (like I have something to do)!
We'll keep in touch ;)

Excuses? Nah :)
Ok, so I won't lie. My lack of updates is the result of the following recipe:
1 cup traveling
3 cups stress
2 tablespoons of AP testing
a full box of not wanting to blog
stir and put in the freezer until you forget about it: presto!
Now that summer has finally arrived (and not a moment too soon because senioritis had become debilitating), I have no excuses! .....Which is why it still took me a week to write this. Despite my procrastination: I shall do my best to fill you in on everything that was missed (which is WAY TOO MUCH T-T).
Colleges:
D-Day (Decisions Day) was absolutely nerve-racking. Columbia's decision was first, and, even though I received a likely letter, I managed to convince myself that they had gotten my hopes up just to laugh when they rejected me. It so didn't help that the internet went out 3 SECONDS before the decision was released! I mean, THREE SECONDS?! COME ON. Despite the terrible omen, it was good news! :D I GOT IN TO COLUMBIA. And, even more shocking, it was practically affordable O.o. (By that I mean at least $6000 a year).
Johns Hopkins was a funny one. I didn't realize its decision was released on the same date.....until I got an email from the athletics department telling me Congrats on getting ACCEPTED and that I should buy tickets to upcoming games...........BEFORE I GOT MY ACCEPTANCE EMAIL. XD Sure enough, fifteen minutes letter I got my acceptance email. <3
Now when I didn't get my Harvard email by 12, I knew it was bad news. I ended up having a terrible night because all my dreams were plagued by Harvard Zombies, which were sent to me as their form of rejection. After only getting three hours of sleep, I was only slightly disheartened by the wait-listed email (at least it wasn't a rejection and I wasn't to be eaten by zombies).
The next day, the travels began!
My first trip was up to Ann Arbor to the University of Michigan for a scholarship weekend. They really pulled all the stops, picking me up and putting all the candidates in a nice hotel. Just as I went to sleep, however, I heard someone speaking Russian trying to open my room. Freaked out thinking someone was trying to break in, I waited for them to give up. When they didn't, I finally went to investigate. At first I saw an old man, so I was going to open the door and tell him he had the wrong room. Upon opening the door, however, I saw a girl my age too and we realized we were roommates. ^^' (The story of her trying to break into my room became the way I introduced her to other candidates ;P). I loved the other candidates there though! I had so much fun hanging out with them and talking. For the first time in a while, I was one of the dumber people! (It felt great!) The interview parts were incredibly stressful though! We had to do "group interviews" which are the hardest things ever because not only are you trying to impress the interviewers, but you are "civilly" trying to speak as soon as possible because the other group members WILL steal what you are going say. Plus: there was this one woman who was EXTREMELY intimidating, and, at one point, I said something (that I didn't think was that important) that suddenly made her stop writing, put down her pen, and stare at me. O.o I mean, did I say something interesting or something extremely stupid? Near the end, I saw that she had only starred 3 of our names out of 6. Yikes! Despite being exhausted by the end of the weekend, it was probably my favorite trip! I mean, I got to go down on the football field, sit in on some classes, and meet amazing people. Plus: I got the scholarship :D.
Next was Ohio with my mum, which (after being a little biased against after having so much fun at their nemesis Michigan) I had my reservations about. The area was really nice. I was surprised how nice people were in a city that was pretty big (not huge, but much better than the suburbs I've grown accustomed to). The events they had planned didn't completely wow me, except the medical center. Their medical center was AMAZING. I totally fell in love with it. <3 While I wasn't wowed, it was really nice. :D The people seemed normal enough, the school's HUGE, and the rooms and stuff looked good. My aunt, uncle, and cousins drove up from Cincinnati to see us and we had a great time! It was nice having family close by.
Last was New York City! Now, I've never been to NYC, so I was REALLY excited. :D Imagine my disappointment when our plane got canceled and we didn't leave until the next day. :/ Not cool. I missed half a day in NYC! When I did go there the next day, I practically had to rush over to Columbia. See, I kinda had my heart set on Columbia already, but when I arrived I quickly became torn. The atmosphere was stiffing, the dorms were atrocious, and I didn't love the people around me (in fact, I down right hated some of the arrogant, inconsiderate people who would be part of my incoming class). Some of the aspects I did love, like the science labs and the clubs. But, resoundingly, I found that I wouldn't get many opportunities there and the few chances I would get, I would have to fight to the death for. NYC was unbelievable though! I only had time to go to times square and Central Park but it was so much fun! I loved it! I totally want to go back. <3
My decision ended up coming down to the wire. As much as I wanted an Ivy Name, I had to accept that I knew I would be unhappy at Columbia and didn't choose it. Eventually, I had to go with Ohio State because a full ride and money for study abroad/research is too good to pass up. :D GO BUCKEYES!!!!!
School:
Oh I am so glad to have GRADUATED! (With highest honors and a 4.2 mind you :D.) We got out of school on the 4th, but I was basically back the whole following two weeks for AP testing. Yuck. I totally think I got a five on one or two of my tests (like BC Calculus), but I will be lucky if I got a 3 on Chemistry. :(
Social Life:
What social life? Just kidding :)
It's really been up and down. Me and my (still incredibly amazing) boyfriend broke up (which really sucks, but we're still friends). I did end up going to prom with my best girlfriend Uniqia, and was shocked by how much fun I ended up having. :D Uniqia and I ended up being pretty close by the end of the year <3. Matilde too, I will so cry when she leaves. D: I ended up making even more guy friends. Which, for me, it all still feels really weird! I mean, I never had like more than two or three guy friends, and this year I had like 5 or 6. Some of which, I talk to when I'm at home on im or text or whatever which feels even STRANGER. But it's cool having guy friends (just wish I had more girl ones so I could have some real girl talk).
Due to all the traveling, I, sadly, gained a few pounds. Apparently, I still look good though because a few guys began to flirt with me lately (of course, they wait until I'm done with this place, ha ha, very funny guys). Still, now that it's summer, my "get back in shape!" plan is in full swing. :D
Also since it's summer, I've gotten to enjoy reading again. <3 I have read sooooo much lately, I can't believe it! (Mostly manga though, how I love those manga ^^).
Anyway, I am exhausted. :/ I'll try to keep you filled in more regularly, ja?
Until the next post!
~S~

SPRING BREAK!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!! Finally, the week I've spent the last three months waiting for has finally arrived! <3 Now with a tiny bit of free time I can finally fill you all in on what has been going on in my life (and trust me, it's a LOT). So hopefully I'll remember everything, so, in an attempt to do so, I will do it in the order of it's ruling my life. :P Ie: college, social life, and then school (that last one is a funny joke ;D).
So colleges! First off, apparently I'm amazing. I mean honestly, I cannot believe it; I was so worried that I was not going to get in anywhere that I could actually afford and that I'd be living with the parents for four more years but here's what's really up!
Colleges that are out:
For sure I'm not attending the University of Pittsburgh and New England. Still way too much money (only $10000 and $18000 respectively).
Probably out:
Fordham university has recently moved to this list for the pure fact that, even with free tuition, $15000 is too much for room and board. PLUS: they don't even have my major. Case Western is almost in the out list. For one thing, I'm still a little sore about not being accepted to the pre-proffessional program. Also, the $30000 scholarship still didn't even cover tuition. :P
Waiting on:
I'm still awaiting decisions from the big league! Harvard and Johns are still a mystery, but I got some really REALLY good news saying that I'm a "likely" candidate for Columbia, and that I should expect "favorable" results! <3 SO PSYCHED. I mean, I probably still won't be able to afford it, but even an acceptance is amazing.
Possibles:
University of Arkansas- Still just a backup school, but this weekend I went to the fellowship interviews. I only went in for the essays on Friday and then on the second day for a interview (which was only like 10 minutes long instead of 20), but I still got the highest and most distinguished award! Kind of crazy huh? They must have already really liked me. :) I had good odds though since they only pick 10 out of the hundreds that applied and 5/6 get the award. So now I won't have to pay, but that means I stay in state.
University of Michigan- I thought this one would be way too much money, but I got nominated for this special scholarship that I will have to go interview for at the end of the month. That'll cover room and board, as well as $15000 towards tuition. Plus, I got $20000 for just being nominated, so it really is an option!
Ohio State University- So here's the really big news: I GOT A FULL RIDE!!! Oh my goodness, I freaked out! I am so extremely happy! Only 10 people were awarded out of the 80 that interviewed and the 3000 that applied! I was really worried about it. See, when Ohio said the interview was at 1:40.....they meant 1:40 EST. O.O Luckily, I had gotten on nearly an hour early to be prepared, so I was only a few minutes late. Still, they had to switch me and the next interviewer (which I was still really worried). Right now as everything stands, it is my first choice because I won't have to worry about anything and Ohio seems like a good college experience. :)
So, doing some math, my scholarships added all together for four years amount to at LEAST $700000! Pretty legit huh? I could buy a nice house with that ;).
Socialness time!
Well last weekend was certainly crazy! Not only did I have fellowship things, but my bestie Animal Cracker came! Ahhh, it was great! I had an absolute blast! We chilled and watched the first whole season of the Walking Dead plus some other movies. (By the way, I just love Glenn!)
Okay, so I had something that kinda threw me of happen the other day. Math sponsored a pie eating contest for donations to UNICEF on pi day (3/14) and at the very end, one of the contestants was talking to me. At the end of the day, he showed up again and he was flirting with me, which I mean is nice and all. It's a compliment. The next day, he's waiting for me again outside the buses and he walks me, not only to my class but comes into my first period and sits next to me to keep talking to me. Then things go too serious way too fast. Then he gives me a note saying he's seen me around for a while now and that he's always wanted to talk me (kinda stalkerish but ok), and in the note is a necklace. O.o Yea. Just got creepy. I'm sure he was just being nice and all but uh NO THANKS. I have a boyfriend <3.
Otherwise, the rest of my friends are cool. :D Matilde just laughed at me at the situation above .-..
For lent, I gave up Fanfiction (it makes me want to cry when I think about it, I miss it so much!). As a result, I've gotten even MORE into Anime, Manga, and iPod apps. Right now I've added Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (I watched all of Fullmetal Alchemist with my parents) and Mushi to the series I watch already. As for manga, I'm really into Dengeki Daisy. <3 I seriously LOVE it! As for my iPod apps I've gone through a few obsessions including Draw Something and iAssociate 2, but right now it's Adventure Bar Story (which is a lot like Harvest moon and Final Fantasy stuck together!). As a result, I still haven't reading the Fountainhead. :P I did read the Awakening which wasn't all that great.
School:
Senioritis is in FULL swing. Really, I doubt I care that much. This last week ESPECIALLY! The hour change has thrown me off terribly. So, instead of fixing it, I have stayed up extra late :D. Still, I don't need to do much to do well anyway. X) I think the teachers are pretty much accepting that the disease is running rampant. ^^'
I'm sure there's been lots more, but I'm going to go enjoy my spring break!
Hasta Lluego!

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming
What day is it? No seriously, I think my days are beginning to blur into one another. ><'''
Guess who has Senioritis! THIS GIRL. The sad fact has been popping up all week and I was certain by Friday morning where I was joking hysterically with Matilde during Chemistry instead of paying attention. But as I said to my fawesome Chemistry teacher, "The only good thing about Senioritis is that I'm really happy." X) Seriously, I come home smiling because I am well aware that I'm not going to have the drive to do my homework. ^^
The big supporter of my Senioritis is Fanfiction! YES, I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH IT ONCE MORE! The obsession started again because I finished (basically, still have an alternative ending to write) my 3 year in the making FanFiction. :D I seriously thought I never would finish it (considering it was a year since I last updated) but I am so glad I did! However, returning to that site has lead to me never wanting to leave it! I have read at least 15 decent fanfictions since Monday. :P
Don't worry though, the Senioritis is not TOO bad. I went to this AP Literature session on Saturday and WHAT A WASTE. 6 hours of nonsense in all honesty. One lady was funny, but the other one made me so annoyed. The only good thing was that she inspired me to write some poetry (vent all my anger). One was actually really good. :D Totally fond of it considering I haven't written Poetry in a LONG time. I also applied for some more scholarships, wrote one essay. Plus: I made up all that homework I had procrastinated doing all week. :P I'm super exhausted though.
School has been....interesting. And by interesting, I mean boring. X) I read fanfiction under my desk and snack all the time. :P Only really funny event was when I pointed out that my BC teacher was doing something wrong (since Conner hadn't when he told me half an hour earlier) and she practically had a mental breakdown. XD She froze, put her hands on her head, and put herself in the corner. :P She had to teach the WHOLE thing all over again. Of course, everyone knew by the next day. Ironically, after one of the guys at my table brought it up and said I was now smarter than her (since no one would listen to me when I said it was actually Conner who first noticed) but she said I wasn't, I then corrected her on the problem she was then working on. XD
Besides that, the only other funny story was earlier that week, I was feeling tired and hungry. My daily apple tasted terrible and I was getting cranky. Then for our "review" my BC teacher said we would put problems on the board. Which we ALWAYS do and we NEVER learn anything. So I started throwing a hissy fit to Conner, but apparently, she was really close by. When I realized things had gotten quiet, I saw she was RIGHT THERE. .....Awkward. She just kind of stared wide eyed and said "I've never heard you get upset." My reply? "I'm tired and my apple doesn't taste good, I'm not happy!" ^^''' Good news? She moved the test to Friday XD. Class was very happy, but I still felt awkward. (The test then got moved to Monday, then canceled, then moved to Monday again in classic BC fashion.)
No news on Colleges yet. :) I'll tell you as soon as I know!
Until I remember to post again!

Winter break! YAYYYYYYY!!!!
Well things have been quite busy lately so to make sure I Get it all out of my head I will go as chronilogically as possible.
Let's start with finals:
Hfkhusfhksuehfukjesihdijo.
Yes, that bad. Really it was simply the fact that I have never had to take these many finals. Ever. By the last day I was completely drained. I didn't even study in reality. I just typed up my biology notes from the whole year (they are pretty now <3) while watching Jackie Chan Adventures and attempting to catch up on Naruto Shippuden (only 100 more eps to go :P). Still I did well overall. Creepily people were telling me I did well on Chemistry before I even looked at my grade. I was relieved when I found out they were just posted outside the door. :). But I'm really starting to hate this "know-it-all" thing. The days where I just zoned out in class and when no one knew I was smart unless I spoke to them directly seem oh so sweet now. Honestly I would shut up in embarrassment like I want to but I know I am learning more when I speak up so I just gotta suck it up and withstand the bad blood.
Sadness: Ting has gone back to China. :( she completely missed Christmas but I hope my present at least made her smile a bit. :D
Happy thought: I took pics of me and Apollo!!!!!! He is so cute! (Although the camera did add ten pounds ;) ). If you want them, you know my email ^^.
We had originally planned to leave for Chicago right after Finals (so about 11 on Tuesday) but Monday night mom was freaking out about a "blizzard" and I wasn't gonna bother packing if we weren't even going to go. Next day= perfect day. We were so not losing a whole day for nothing! Commence operation SPEED PACK. Even so we didn't leave until about 2 (we had to actually go back at one point because we ie I left my aunts maple syrup gift). ...which means we didn't get to Chicago until 12 am. Yuck. We were lucky though because there had been this huge fog while we were driving and it was super creepy/dangerous.
But we made it! And I'm glad we didn't waste a day because we did A LOT in that one day. First we went to this "fancy" restaurant for lunch. While everything looked good it didnt taste the best to me. Then we actually did this "finding my roots" sort of thing. We drove through my old neighborhood, saw the place I grew up in. Saw the apartment we had when I was born. Saw the hospital I was born in (UIC hospital, only Chicago born person in my family! What up!) I saw where my dad grew up, his high school. We saw Unversity of Illinois in Chicago (UIC) where my parents went and I actually really liked it! It's not the best school but the area is PERFECT. It ACTUALLY FEELS like a city. My mom had us stop at a coffee shop she used to love and it will be my official hang out spot if I go to UIC. Artwork all over the walls. Murals on the cieling. Very Latino. Very cool. Then we grabbed some tacos and a tres leeches cupcake from some places nearby and headed home. :)
The next day we went to check out the University of Chicago (with my complaining little bro in tow). Surprisingly, wasn't too trilled by what I saw. It's like the opposite of UIC. Great school but super boring area. All you got is the science and engineering museum. Fun. So glad I didn't apply there. Then we went to downtown Chicago, Michigan avenue and all that jazz. Sadly I ie we lost the camera. We werent there that long anyway. Just saw the bean and checked out an art store which didn't have the color pens that I wanted. Then we got some pizza that my bro loved but the rest of us werent too happy with.
Friday was bro time! Finally got to see my older bro. Sadly he was not bald like we had braced ourselves for (he shaved off his hair for Halloween but it's grown quite a bit already). We mostly hung out as (as always) we were constantly arguing about what to do or waiting for someone beofore we could go. My aunt just HAD to watch the muppets and if I was going to be forced through that punishiment I wanted to at least go shopping beforehand. But thanks to my family not being on the same page and people getting lost, I didn't get to actually shop at all. We did watch her muppets though. She loved it despite her not knowing any of the actors or references. My bro liked it because he likes musicals. The only part I laughed at was when I saw Sheldon because it was so unexpected. Dad was indifferent. Mom was dying.
Saturday ie Christmas eve was pretty much chilling time. People didn't start to come until 6 or 7 and that's when all the gossiping and debates kicked in. It wasnt much, but I liked seeing everyone. My little bro has officially taken over the role of "head adult botherer". I used to have to keep asking "when are we going to open presents?" now my little bro is going to carry on the tradition. I'm happy but also really sad. I got majorly depressed after opening presents not because I wasn't thankful but because I realized I was no longer one of the kids and I would not have any more of those present filled Christmases of my childhood.
Christmas day wasn't much fun. My family was cooking some fish that smelled up the house so my mom and I camped out upstairs. We actually ended up driving around just to get away. The two food places open on Xmas? McDonalds and some Chinese place. So I had Chinese food for Xmas dinner :). The triplets came in about 7 and they are HUGE. They need to stop growing. Finally they are maturing and are not as annoying to be around. I even invited the oldest to come sleep with me at my little bros house (cept now she got me and my mom sick). I also got to play with my cousins kis, who had been asleep the night before. The girl was so cute! At first she was just staring at me then she said: You're pretty. <3
Monday we chilled for a long time. We played many rounds of Headbanz where you have a card on your head and you try to guess what you are. Then we took the middle triplet with us to see Loayola. Wasn't too impressed by it either. On the brightside: we ate at this mediteranian restaurant and it was sooooo yummy! I got my fancy little plate of filet mignion X). I always wanted some fancy plating. Very happy making. I spent the rest of the day reading Son of Neptune which I stole from the girls. ^^
The next day was also chilling. Though we went the movies. The little ones watched Tin Tin and Auntie, my aunt and uncle, the oldest girlies, and I watched Sherlock Holmes. We came out earlier than the others, so in classic Auntie fashion, we snuck into War Horse. The munchkin was super excited because she had never snuck into another movie and her parents were kinda tense afterwards because she was a little TOO happy about it. I was exhausted afterwards, but I did finish Son of Neptune. :) 500 pages in 2 days. Lol.
Wow that was a lot, and all typed on my iPad! Kinda proud of myself. Okay I'll finish this off with a college update.
I was accepted to the University of Michigan!!!!! I was so pumped. Then I got a letter from Fordham. FULL TUITION!!! I seriously had already cut it out of the running, but dang. Now I just need the $10,000 to $15,000 for room and board. ^^'. We'll see but the university is right next to Central Park!
Happy Holidays!

The Events of an Uneventful Life :D
Here I am! Yes, I have not died, though I did seem to hide. Anyway, in case you've been wondering what's up with me I'm here to fill you in.
The "surprise" trip to Texas was super fun! I still have to upload all the pictures but I'll be happy to send them to whoever asks. <3 I wish I had longer than a few days. :( (Although, I must say I felt like I did so much stuff in those two days there that it felt like I spent a week there XD) The hangover feeling that Monday was not fun however. :/ That plus the insane amount of tests that week (the last week before finals) felt like I was being punished for having a great trip. Still way worth it. :D
Speaking of school: it is almost done for the year! (this year, 2011 at least ;) ) These last two days have been finals days. Which, by the way, having to take all 7 of my finals (even AB Calculus which I do not get a grade for) has been awfully brutal. I do not study THAT much, but just having to take two 90 minute tests back to back makes me want to slam my head against a desk. At least now I have four done and each day is a half day. :) On Friday I made two 100's (for AB and Biology), and so far I have the score to beat for Biology ;) (92 out of 100 let's see who beats me). Also: I've been taking pictures :D I know some of you people in Texas asked for some, plus Ting is leaving. :( It's so sad!!! She even leaves on Xmas D: Tell me that does not stink! (Not that she celebrates it, but still!) So I took some pictures of us and Matilde. :) Then I took some pictures with Apollo! Then some with Apollo and Uniqia ^^ Super cuteness.
Now for college stuffs: I think I may be done applying!!! YAY!!! Last weekend I was an essay maniac and wrote about 7 of them. So I applied for my last two schools: Johns Hopkins and Columbia University. Also applied for some Hispanic Scholarship Fund scholarships. This weekend I wrote some essays, but definitely without the drive I had last weekend. :/ That's for the Gate's scholarship. *sigh* My relaxation from finishing applications was so short lived! Cannot wait until college is all prepared for and done with. :)
Also speaking of college stuffs: I GOT INTO THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN <3 I knew I would, but I was getting worried when I didn't get my acceptance email on the first day (the infamous December 15) but I'm in! <3 So hope I can afford it. Sadly, U of A is looking quite affordable. :/ I won't know about fellowships for a while, but I got an $8000 scholarship there, which would cover at least all of tuition. So far it's six for six people. After Case Western, I'll only be waiting on the biggies for replies. Can't say I'm totally looking forward to those probably rejection letters but oh well.
As Winter Break gets closer, I cannot wait to go to Chicago! We didn't go last year, so I am really looking forward to it. :) My dad and I made this whole list of things I really have to experience (since I was so young when I lived there). Plays, fancy restaurants, the South side and North side? I'm game. :)
In case things get hectic: MERRY XMAS TO ALL <3
And to all a great year :D

Better late than Never!
Sorry y'all for not posting in what feels like a century but for the first time I feel like I can sit down and write my post. (Not for long though, I still have a lot to do, but I still have a little time. :) )
Thanksgiving was CRAZY, as my family is. Two of my aunts came earlier than the rest of my family, which was actually a lot of fun. We hung out and chilled mostly, not too much stress there. One of my aunt chaperoned on a field trip to a nearby university. I was unimpressed, but, hey, an excuse not to go to school and worth a test grade. :P Speaking of not going to school, I didn't go in on Friday. The day was not too fun, I spent the majority of the day reading Heart of Darkness, but we had some fun at night. We watched a Tea Ceremony presentation at the U of A, during which my family acted hilariously curious. X) Then we went to eat at the Greenhouse Grille which is a pretty fawesome place. Even had some live music.
The real insanity did not begin until the rest of my family came in. One of my little cousins was apparently sick because he kept throwing up. We were on high alert every second. To make matters worse, apparently he's a little hell raiser because we could not control him! Everything he touched was destroyed. He pulled all my mom's clothes out of her closet, threw the nuts all over the room, and when he started playing with the wine glasses.... He's just over 2 and a half and it's worse that he knows how to open doors. ><' Nothing was safe T-T
The rest of my family had the crazy idea of leaving at 5 pm. Which meant they would get here at 3 in the morning. Which means, I was woken up at 3 am, 4 am (because the toddler was crying making kiko freak out and cry), and then 5 am. Then woke up for real at 7 am because I could not ignore all the toddler talk. My little bro is HUGE now though! He's almost my height, and he's only 11 T-T. Nonetheless, he's still my little bro ;). It was great seeing him again and messing with him. ^^ Thanksgiving was delicious too! We had italian beef from Chicago for lunch then the whole turkey AND ham dinner.
OMG I RODE A CAMEL!!! It was so much fun! They are so huge! I thought I was riding a giraffe. X) My little bro was too scared to ride it too. XD
I finally finished my novel <3 27 days, 50200 words! I'm so proud of myself! It got really hard at the end, but I so got it done :D.
As for college updates: I've been accepted to four so far! U of A, U of Pitt, Fordham University, and University of New England. I've received $10000 from U of Pitt and $18000 from U of NE, but obviously that's not enough for anything really. So I still have my fingers crossed. :) I just realized though, for Ohio State I have essays due the 1st and 15th for scholarships and stuff. :/ Yikes! I really need to work on that today.
Finally, I have the house back to just us. Kiko is really happy because his sleep schedule has been as screwed up as mine. Now I can finally get back to work and get things done. :)
That's all for now!

My life in one word: WRITING
So NaNoWriMo has officially begun.......and it's hijacked my life. XD Quite literally, it has taken over my word. X)
Not that I totally mind. It's totally fulfilling to see the number on my dry erase circle (see pictures of my room if you don't know what I'm talking about) go up and up and up! Gah, I am so happy <3. As of this very second I am writing this blog post: I have written 23,500 words! I've been writing all day (over 5000 words y'all!) and my goal is to hit 25000 words tonight (HALF WAY DONE :D :D :D).
Only, things are gonna hit the fan really soon. As if I was not already playing a juggling act with my 6 AP classes and writing, my family is coming in starting MONDAY! Literally, two aunts are coming in on Monday, staying until the 23rd. Then on the 22nd my aunt, uncle, and baby cousin are coming in (don't know when they'll leave). Then on the 23rd my other aunt, uncle, and little cousin (my younger brother :D Love him, he totally forced his parents to come down cuz he misses me <3) are coming until the 28th. Which means, no days left alone to write. :( I guess I am going to have to get used to running on 5 hours of sleep ^^'''. Oh well, as Tim Gunn says, "Make it work!"
Speaking of work, I broke my rule about not working on college stuffs during NaNoWriMo. :( I simply could not stop myself! But, apparently, I have gotten college stuff down so well that I basically did a whole application start to finish (include a short answer and 300 word essay) in an HOUR. Yea, take that colleges! The only real stress was that one of my teachers could not read the email for the U of A fellowship! YIKES!!! Literally, was freaking out because it is due Tuesday, and it had to be IN THEIR HANDS by that day. Luckily, she was able to get it fixed and done, so no more worrying about rec letters. ^^
And speaking of colleges, the update on that is that I've been accepted by two. :D Of course, one is the U of Arkansas, but today I just my acceptance letter from U of Pittsburgh today! I'm so glad I at least have choices T-T. I'm still waiting for U of Michigan, U of New England, Fordham U, and Case Western to send me the verdict. I still have to apply to the biggies too: Harvard, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, and some school in Chicago (thinking maybe Layola or something, we'll see what happens there).
But it's not all work and no play kiddies! I watched this really funny movie today called "My Idiot Brother" if you're over 17 and haven't seen it, it's pretty hi-larious. Plus: happy ending <3. Just my kind of movie.
As for school itself, it has decided to try to kill me this weekend. I've got: Bio chapter to read, Bio Quests to do, Chemistry work book, AP Gov essays to prepare, 40 pages of Heart of Darkness with questions for English, AB Calc homework, as well as BC. Fuuuunnnnn. Sometimes, I think I only go to school to see Apolo (my bio teacher's bearded dragon, he's so fawesome!). :P
Anyway, on top of that I also have to clean my room (which has been suffering from neglect thanks to NaNoWriMo) and my bathroom. So I better get cracking!
Off, off, and AWAY!

Better Late Than Never!
Happy Halloween! (Said in the very last few minutes of Halloween but whatever. ^^) It's super late (for me) right now and I have school in the morning, but I don't care! :D Because, GUESS WHAT?!
I'm doing NaNoWriMo! <3 In case you don't know what that is, NaNoWriMo stands for National November Writing Month and what you try to do is write a 50,000 word novel in a MONTH. Yikes! Anyway, I've wanted to do it for years (signed up 2 years ago at that), but I've never sat down and DONE it. But I realized, I need something for ME. I need some kind of break from school and college stuff and have an experience. :) So, I'll be attempting to cross yet another thing off my bucket list! To make matter worse for myself, I'm making myself go outside my comfort zone and am writing a Sci-Fi novel based off a dream I had. XD (Yes, I am crazy.) It starts in about 10 minutes (which is why I am staying up...).
Now, to describing my week. Honestly, most of it was luke warm at best. ....Until Thursday that is. :D Why was Thursday better than luke-warm? I got to go see Beavan Collins. X) He's the guy that wrote No Impact Man, and I was so happy <3. So happy in fact, that I made an idiot of myself and couldn't say anything to him worthwhile, but it's ok! Some other college girls were standing there doing the same thing. :P At least he signed my book though <3. On the bright side, I was holding my own in conversations with my dad's peers. They were all impressed that I was doing NaNoWriMo. ^^
On Saturday, we had an AP review session that lasted from 8-2. T-T I'm sorry, but waiting up at 6 and listening to people talk about Bio and Chem is NOT how I want to spend my Saturday! Oh well, 50 bonus points for Bio, 20 for Chem :P. Then I went home and tried NOT to sleep sitting up and do some homework. I did somehow get all of it done by Sunday AND apply for 2 more colleges. (I finished Case Western, then I applied for the University of New England on a whim because they had the CUTEST seals <3 plus, easiest supplement EVER!)
The scariest thing happened today! I was in the shower, testing my water by catching it in my hands then letting it go, just waiting for it to get hot. Suddenly, the water turns completely black. I FREAKED OUT. Even after I dropped the water and closed the faucet, my hands were black and I ran out of the shower. My parents said it was probably just sediment, but SERIOUSLY? On Halloween of all days and after watching a bunch of scary movies the night before?! D:
Argh, oh well. I also kinda screwed up a Gov test that I had forgotten about until the period before it AND my teacher STILL hasn't submitted her rec letter and I dunno if they have to have it turned in by the early action deadline too. :/ Too bad! Well, I gotta go prepare for NaNoWriMo! :)
Bye Byes!

Chillin' with Colleges
Apparently, I am in College Mode. Yes, the one and only college mode. And, sadly, the button is stuck on "on". In fact, it is SO stuck, that I'm not getting my regular school/house/life work done. :/ Take for example, oh, 3 minutes ago where I stopped doing my pre-lab questions for chemistry and began talking about colleges with the mumsy for half an hour. :/ Seriously? I had already decided I would NOT do any more college stuff until Friday (this was decided on Sunday) and since that decision I have probably spent........4 hours total on College stuffs. :( I already don't have a life, do I need to spend what little free time I have working on college applications?!
While on that subject, I did get another application in. :) Yup! University of Michigan is DONE! That's four down now! (Interestingly enough, Michigan is the first complete application for one of my "dream schools" ...and it was the lowest on that list :/.) Speaking of dream schools, by the way, is what my family and I were talking about. We did the math the other day, and (unless calculations change, as they always are) I will have spent ABOUT $500 on applications and sending scores and the like. O.O $500!!!! I feel so terrible. :( Especially since some schools we sent scores from are now off the list (at both mine and my parents requests). Such a waste of money. T-T Now I am extremely torn for all my decisions.
For example, my mom and I started talking because I wanted to retake my SAT Subject Tests (I got a 760 in math II, 700 in Bio E, and 650 in Spanish (yea that last one is HIlarious) but the first two are only in the 77/76 % ranges which makes me VERY uneasy). But, that's another $42. Then we started talking about schools, which I asked if I should or should not apply to Columbia (the most recently added). I kinda let it slip for the first time that it is my number ONE dream school. (Yup, I wasn't even going to apply for it :P). My mom is kinda freaking out though, because now she realizes that Harvard was NOT my first choice (still a dream school, but it's number 3). But, I sent my scores and the whole nine yards to Harvard, so, again, we would be losing scores if I switched now. If we DIDN'T switch but I DID apply to Columbia, that's another $80. :/ Very, very torn.
On a random note, I have realized I can talk my way into some points for my AP classes when it comes to writing. :) Honestly, I thought I drew scribbles all over my paper for the last Gov essays, but for one it was a 90 something, the second a 80 something, and my over 100 something for my objective test balances it all nicely. <3 Glad to know I have some still unknown skills. ^^
Otherwise, it's been boring, once again. Mostly writing essays like a crazy person, then chilling with Hulu. I think I may or may not be getting sick though. :( I keep trying to go to bed early, but Sunday night it ended up being 12 not 11, Monday night was 11 not 10, Yesterday was 10 not 9, and I already missed the 8 o'clock deadline for tonight. :/ HOPEFULLY I can make the 9. :P
On a happy note: I'm going to this even tomorrow about that book I had raved about over the summer, No Impact Man. I may even meet the author or something! SO EXCITED <3

whoopsie daisy
I totally thought I had posted but apparently: NOPE. XD
See, if I actually really had anything to say, I might be more INCLINED to have rushed on and made a post, but my life is so non-existent it's sad.
Actually, this lady who's in charge of AP testing for this group called AAIMS here actually told me I have no life because I was getting all A's in all my AP's. .-. Isn't that kind of mean? It's HER freaking program I'm in, shouldn't she be glad?! ><''''
Aw well, what to do. S'not like I haven't done ANYTHING fun. On Saturday we went shopping over in Rogers. :) Got myself a cute skirt, some shirts, and all that jazz. <3 Then on Sunday we went to the park, where I learned I'm REALLY outta shape. D: I mean, REALLY. Worse than my MOM. YIKES!!!! Then we watched the Help. (Which really meant I listened to my parents complain about the white people in the movie. ><')
Other than that: COLLEGE STUFFS. T-T Omg, how quickly the time has passed! The November 1st deadline is about to pounce upon me and devour my flesh I am SURE OF IT. TT_TT So unprepared.
I HAVE however applied for 3 schools so far. :D U of A, U of Pittsburgh, and Fordham University. Also, I have my fellowship application ready for the U of A.........just can't submit it because of some weird error. .-. Still, I have two more colleges with Nov 1st deadline and I think a couple more with Nov 15, so I'm FREAKING OUT. O.o
What's more, I get my SAT Subject Tests Scores on Thursday. D: I feel like my life is about to fall apart. T-T Everything depends on those scores! (Note- I'm well aware that is an exaggeration, but I'm feeling rather dramatic right now ;) ).
Otherwise, not much to account. Making everyone jelly of my mad brain power. Got to poke and play with a pig heart today (fresh from the slaughter house too! I love Bio <3).
Keep on beating!

A fairly uneventful week
Sadly life is settling into a routine here. I actually started making little schedules down to the half hour for how long I will work on what once I got home. (But something about knowing you'll be working on Homework or College stuffs all night is really unappealing.) Also, I haven't been feeling all that great as of late. No idea why. For one thing, I got all these itchy hives from who knows where. Probably from the new laundry soap which is REALLY annoying because I have no idea which clothes are contaminated. ><'''
As for school, it was SO not fun this week. As in MAJORLY stressful. The worst was in BC calculus we took a mock AB test. Which, basically was a review of everything in AB.........which I have yet to learn. T-T I got 7 out of 28. Yea, THAT bad. Good news? Everyone sucked to some degree. XD The highest was a 17, which was an 85%. Then a large group got 75%. The rest of us got a 65% (which btw, I was NOT the only one who got 7 which made me feel MUCH better considering they HAD taken AB). The better news? She ended up not taking it for a grade. XD The catch? We gotta retake it next week. :/ Don't think a week is long enough for me to learn everything for AB. Oh well, I did the math. Even with a 65% for a test grade, I'll still make like a 94% in the class :P. TAKE THAT BC CALCULUS!
On a totally random note: I looked HOT on Friday. X) No idea why I felt like saying that, but it twas a fact. Got some compliments, mostly from guys which I found quite funny. (People I know though, most with girlfriends so they didn't mean much by it.) If you're wondering what I looked like, I had a super tight purple sleeveless turtleneck, black pants, heels, and a long silver necklace. Showed off how slim I now. XD All for fancy Friday <3.
Speaking of Friday. In AP Government, we're having elections for president of the course. I'm not running of course, but I helped start this PAC (a group who supports a candidate who supports our ideals) with two other girls in my class. They wanted a PETA PAC, I wanted a Green PAC, so we made the Green PETA PAC. XD Well, we had our speech written out to tell everyone what we were about but one girl had been out and the other was leaving early, so I was stuck reading it. I thought it was quite funny because, even though I hadn't planned on reading it, I was dressed all fancy XD. I even added my blazer so I looked very professional. It matched so perfectly, because the beginning of our speech was extremely professional and serious. Then suddenly we're like "We want a candidate who will save the tree animals like cows and vicunas and the money trees they live in!" Then we get serious again saying we want to stop wasting ink on printing power points and how we're killing the trees by doing so. Add emotion by DEMANDING change. Suddenly switch to "do it or the vicunas will eat you like they did to the last person..." Finally, "we bid you good day."
So got a standing ovation xD. Best speech yet. :)
But that's pretty much it! For reals. (sad right? :( )

I don't what hurts more: my back or brain
How to describe this week......
GAHHHHHHBOOMBLEHMEHEHHHHHHHHHWHOOSHPLOP!
.....Yes, that seems very accurate. ^^
This week started off innocently enough, then, OUT OF NOWHERE, got super dooper stressful. I don't know quite how to describe it, but the week seemed to mix a bunch of tests and missing a lot of classes, all at the same time. X)
Let's focus on the fun things for a second:
On Tuesday they had this ceremony to hand out money to anyone who passed an English, Math, or Science AP test last year. Of course, I just watched. But, hey, got to skip a class :D.
Then....Weds.....or maybe Monday, we had our Homecoming parade........during school. (Weird right?) So basically, we went and watched the band march, color guard twirl, cheerleaders walk down cheering, and then a bunch of clubs and random seniors on the the backs of cars and trailers throwing candy. XD I didn't understand most of the "floats" but, whatcha going to do? ;)
On Wednesday night my parents and I went to see a spoken word performance at the university. It was AWESOME! <3 The guy was amazing! He'd come from New York for Hispanic Heritage Month and I just loved him. Too bad only like 10 of us showed up to hear him. ><' I liked him so much, I even bought his little book of poetry and got him to sign it. :) Then, instead of studying for one of those many tests I mentioned, we went and got french fries but they were terrible XD.
So, on Weds our calculus teacher had said there was going to test tomorrow (AB). But a girl in my Gov class had heard from her friend in another class that it had been moved to Friday. I went and asked my teacher, and sure enough, IT WAS :D. BUT, we were supposed to keep it a secret so slackers would study ;). When we showed up on Thurs and people realized there was no test people both cheered and got super mad. XD
Next comes BC. Like always, they wanted to put a really hard BC problem and write that it was for the AB. I said, "If you really want to scare them, just put the desks in rows. They think they have a test today, but they don't." They liked that idea. X) So we put all the desks in rows, wrote the song my teacher sings every test day on the back board, then put problems that looked like they could be test q's but made them IMPOSSIBLY HARD. XD. Apparently, they bought it too. ^^ Some people didn't believe those were the q's but were sure there was a test. Others actually got a paper and started working them. XD XD XD. We tis evil <3
Then on Friday we got out of class for a homecoming maid ceremony. They just introduced them all and they sat down and the choir sang. Pretty boring, BUT it was during 2nd period.......so guess who missed that test that had been postponed ;).
In BC, we FINALLY graded that test we took like 3 weeks ago. EVERYONE made an A XD. It was HILARIOUS. I only missed one point ;) and the teacher's all like "You haven't taken AB yet, and you still did so well" I just said "because you taught it!" (even though she BARELY did) but I guess everyone else hates me because they pointed out it was just calculator problems. X)
Friday night is when everything burst into flames. See, I had signed up for SAT Subject tests a while ago........and never got around to studying for them. :/ So, I had a cramming session all of Friday which was REALLY UNcool. T-T Plus, my bus was 20 minutes late to pick us up and I was cranky. ><' Not a good night whatsoever.
Saturday morning wasn't much better. Had to wake up at 6:45 to go take the tests. I'm studying in the car, and when I look up I realize my mom is driving to MY school instead of Fayetteville high. I freak out. We have to turn around and drive ALL the way back in the opposite direction. ><' I was the last one in to the testing room, but at least they hadn't started. -_-' The tests were meh. The math wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I chickened out and took Ecology for bio instead of Molecular (which I swear I would have failed XD). Then the Spanish was a little harder than I thought.
But! To make up for that morning mom got us some penguin ed's and I don't know if I was just really hungry or what but I CHOWED. IN THE CAR. We had to go get more XD because I had eaten all the pulled pork before we were on our way home (we had stopped at Walmart to get bread). I was just so happy. X)
Homecoming was Saturday night. SOMEONE had the bright idea of having it OUTSIDE, at NIGHT, and it was FREEZING. Really, I was wearing a jacket and it was still terrible. I'm all sore today because my joints are stiff. The dance itself wasn't that great. Not much variety. :/ I found it very meh. Didn't help that I could only think of you all and our dances all night X).
Today it's just a work day. :/ But I felt terribly sore and tired so I've been slacking. ^^' Bad me I know.
So long for now,
~S~

Homecoming was Saturday night. SOMEONE had the bright idea of having it OUTSIDE, at NIGHT, and it was FREEZING. Really, I was wearing a jacket and it was still terrible. I'm all sore today because my joints are stiff. The dance itself wasn't that great. Not much variety. :/ I found it very meh. Didn't help that I could only think of you all and our dances all night X).
Today it's just a work day. :/ But I felt terribly sore and tired so I've been slacking. ^^' Bad me I know.
So long for now,
~S~

What DIDN'T Happen This Week?!
Hello readers of all shapes, sizes, and species.
Welcoming you tonight is the newly crowed 18-year-old version of YOURS TRULY!
Ok, just kidding. Being 18 surprisingly feels.....different. I mean, it's the first birthday that I can actually say I feel different after! Not by much, I'll acknowledge that much, but still noticeably.
But, I'll start at the beginning of my week.
First off, I took a COLLEGE DAY! YAY! I ended up going to this Honors College Convocation right here at the UofA (University of Arkansas). It was long, semi-boring, and they left my group wandering around at the wrong bus stop but it wasn't too bad! What I learned: 1) They have money, which they give LOTS of to Honors College peeps. 2) A lot of the money is available for study abroad, which they HIGHLY encourage. 3) Apply by November 15! (that last one was good to know, but I figured, since it was my back up school anyway, I would kinda leave that for the last minute. Apparently not a good idea!) Also, although I had to hear these lectures all day, it was a break from school! (Which meant I had a THREE day week! BOO YAH!)
Tuesday kinda stunk though, what with the make ups. Plus, I went to this parent-teacher conferences thingy with my mom for an hour.....apparently my entire sched was thrown off by EXACTLY an hour all night XD) Wednesday was not memorable. But THURSDAY.....
I swear, it was like an early b-day present from the world. <3 I woke up figuring it would be a bad day because my little chinese fortune stick said I should laugh at myself and it was raining. But since it was raining, mom took me to school. And since it was such a dreary day, my Chem teacher walked in and was like, "Does anyone want to do the lab [that we had scheduled for] today?" (GIANT NO FROM US.) "Ok, let's work on your homework problems all day instead." YES!
Then second period was normal calculus stuff. Finding derivatives of trig functions, but with a couple of jokes thrown in because of my teacher's mnemonic device, "depapa (the power), demama (the trig), debaby (the angle), and papa and mama have the same baby.....in calculus". (One of the football guys who HATE my calc teacher was like, TO THE TEACHER, "I like problem 7 because it's more realistic. Depapa is 1, so it disappears leaving demama and debaby.")
BC calc had NO ONE because we had a pep rally, meaning all of the band people ditched. So we graded our tests, and even though I didn't KNOW a whole section and missed all of another, I still made a 9 which ended up being the average anyway xD. Still made a 95% on that part :D Booyah!
The pep rally was surprisingly interesting for a while as well! The first half was all in BLACK lights, which makes ANYTHING 5 times cooler.
As I walking to Lunch, one of my friends stopped me. Yesterday, I had seen her reading Perfect by Ellen Hopkins, one of my favorite authors, her latest book. So I gushed, she gushed. Then she said I could borrow it if I liked on Monday. Turns out, SHE WAS DONE ALREADY! So I got a book for the weekend <3 (which, btw, I already finished <3 LOVED IT!)
Later, in Bio. We had a test. I was all worried, because, although I studied for the multiple choice like nobody's business, I was NOT ready for the essays. Thanks to the pep rally, however, our teacher decided she'd just give us multiple choice that day and essays on Monday. :D SCORE! I then continued the fawesomeness by rocking those multiple choice by either tying with or getting the highest score.
In Medical Procedures, we were doing this stupid game where you had to memorize medical abbreviations (a lot of which I already recognized from HOSA Bowl) and I did NOT want to be there. ....At the moment, I got a note to see my counselor. :D What perfect timing <3. So, I went and found out my GPA (which was kinda saddening, it dropped .3 pts). When I got back, I was just in time for my group to play. We OWNED, even WITH the other team CHEATING. MWHAHHAHA.
By Gov, I was tired of school, and so was everyone else. So, the teacher cut off class early and let us just talk. X) Then, 3 day weekend!!!!
When I got home, I watched my favorite shows on Hulu with mum. Chowed 3 bowls of REALLY good pasta! (Normally, I HATE pasta, but it was just so yummy!) Then stayed up all night (by that I mean 1 which is really late for me nowadays), reading, and iming peoples. :D
To my surprise, the goodness just kept coming. <3
Friday was my bday! My dad came in at like 8:30 and like poked me, saying Happy Birthday, but I was tired so I was just like, "Thank you! Have a good day!" .........he poked me again for a while, then said, "Oh you don't have school, sleep tight." (Which I find hilarious, because I would've been REALLY late if I hadn't woken up by 8:30 and he was just casually poking me.) I then slept in til 9:30 X).
When I woke up, there were presents! I didn't know if I should open them until Papi got home, but mom, as impatient as me, told me "He knows what they are, OPEN THEM!!!" So I did ^^.
I got: an embosser (it leaves an imprint of "From the Library of S.Z.N. Dominguez" on books), a journal kind of thing, and (my fav) a pink popcorn popper! Needless to say, we had popcorn for breakfast. : D
My first plan was to go to the movies with Ting. Problem is, I got the address wrong so we were driving, completely lost, for 45 mins. LUCKILY, she called right before we gave up, and we found her. X). Then we saw Abduction with TAYLOR LAUTNER <3. The movie itself made no sense, but he is so hot it makes up for it. (Duh.) Afterwords, we got lost again dropping her off at a friend's house (it was her bday too XD). Then I went and hung out at Hastings with Barnabas, both of us attempting to learn calculus while mostly complaining about it. (NO. I know what you're thinking, NO.) Then, I went home to get ready for dinner. But there was a package at my door step. And what was inside? An IPAD. A FREAKING IPAD! I freaked. My Mum Freaked! Kiko Freaked because we were. I called everyone. Apparently my parents had all pitched in to get it. <3 (My dad's saying we should return it though, so we can get trees ^^ but we have to make sure that's ok with the family. Either way, I'm happy, I just can't believe they GAVE ME ONE.)
We then went to dinner. Only my ended up being good, but when I say good, it was AMAZING <3. Then we went and got gellato. :D When we got home, there was ANOTHER package. Turns out, it was the free hoodie my mom had ordered for me a while ago. IT'S PURPLE! I LOVE IT <3 (wearing it now, as a matter of fact X) ). So, I spent the rest of the night in it, wrapped in my blankets, watching tv on Hulu with the fam and iming people.
Great 18th b-day? I think so. :)
Yesterday was boring in comparison. ^^' I basically slacked, and volunteered with my mom at the local art center as ushers. The play was TERRIBLE, since it was aimed at 10 year olds, so thank goodness it was just an hour. We did have cake later, but it died too. X) What was REALLY good was the POPCORN, from where? MY NEW POPCORN MAKER :D! .........I'm not addicted I swear!
As for today, it's been up and down. We spent over an hour completely lost looking for the same lake we couldn't find last time. But then, we ended up taking pup to this random area. We climbed through the trees, along this path made by construction cars some time ago, and it ended up being really nice. :) Kiko found a creek to swim in (which he's crazy to do! The water must have been only 40 degrees!), there were lots of monarchs flying south that stopped there. What freaked me out was this HUGE (several inches!) spider that was on my dad! If it had been on me, no joke, I would have cried.
Then we went to eat, then we went and saw trees. <3 They're expensive, but I really hope we get some :D. They're so pretty. <3 <3 <3
Ok, I should really go work. This was a LOOOONNNGGG post.

......I see new people. O.O
Wow! This week has been........strange to say the least? Well, more like surprising. XD
For one thing, I tied for the high score on the AB calculus test (with the teacher's daughter mind you XD) on a test I was SURE I failed. (In contrast, I'm still CERTAIN I failed the BC test :P My calculator couldn't even figure out a problem XD).
Picture day was on Wednesday! I ended up ACTUALLY wearing the dress I bought. (*Gasp!*) I think it turned out ok. :) I ended up getting cap and gown pictures too, because apparently I "might as well". :/
Now, here was what was really strange. On Wednesday, the guy behind me invited me to go to a Chemistry study group with him and some of his friends.......and I didn't even know his name. ><' Obviously, they wanted my super smarticleness, but it was soooooooooo weird. O.o Basically, I said I'd try, got his number, then furiously consulted with Ting and my mom. XD After I decided I wouldn't go, a girl came up to me in another one of my classes and asked if I was going. ...........Didn't know her name either XD. But, I did know she sat in front of me in Chemistry, and felt a little better knowing there was at least ONE other girl there. So, I (somewhat reluctantly) agreed. Sure enough, I showed up at the coffee shop at 7:30 that night, there were just four of us including me......and actually had fun. :) They were a bunch of jocks, and I was basically teaching them, but there was a lot of joking so I enjoyed it. Normally, I'd never put myself out there like that, but apparently I'm much more confident than I once was?
Speaking of confident, you will not believe how crazy I am. I asked a guy to homecoming. Yup. I did. Barely even knew him too, might have talked to him a whole 2 times before I asked. But I decided, "I wouldn't mind him being my date, what the hey! There's a 98% chance he'll say no and think I'm weird, but I'll ask for the 2% he'll say yes. :D" So I did. Went right up to him after class (with a little prodding from Ting, even though she didn't even realize who I wanted to ask), and asked something extremely awkward like, "Hi, I know we don't talk a lot and that this is completely out of nowhere, but would you go to homecoming with me?" (And yes, that's the best I could come up with, sue me.)
As if that's not surprising enough, he said maybe. ^^ (To which, I was freaking out because I was just happy having asked him.)
And to make it even MORE surprising, he came back and said yes. :) The moral of the story? I HAVE A DATE. XD (Which is good, because everyone's still dancing back and forth between, going and not going like always.)
I still can't believe I asked a guy though. ><' Where has this confidence come from?! I HATE asking anybody anything that they might say no to!
On a totally unrelated note, my bio class is giving some baby plants hormones/steriods. :) Also, I think I may be sick. :(
Until Next Time,

No school means SHOPPING
Oh thank goodness for Labor Day <3. I dunno how I could survive a full five day school week :P. No, but I really do believe that a four day week just makes u lazy...er. :)
So how did I spend my day off? SHOPPING OF COURSE :D :D :D. We went all day, which means I got a total of: one dress pants, one dressy skirt, two t-shirts (one that didn't fit ^^'), and.......that's it. :/ Oh well ^^'. Today we went shopping as well, looking for SOMETHING for me to wear for my senior pictures that I'm taking on Wednesday. Instead I found a dress and dressy blouse that I probably still won't wear for the picture :P. Oh well.
Sometimes I feel like I'm making my parents spend too much money. ><' Basically, they just keep saying "Happy Birthday!" ........still 13 days parents. Besides, I already told em what I want for my bday: Dinner at this really expensive restaurant <3. The food looked SOOOOOOOOOO good, I WANT IT!!!. Also: dinner at this Shogun place that looks REALLY pretty, but also expensive ^^'. I really can't wait. X) I don't even have school on my bday! Isn't that FAWESOME?!
Since we were talking bout B-day presents, I asked my mom what she was gonna get me for graduation. ^^' She said she MIGHT (which means, I SURE HOPE SHE DOES) send me and my brother (who's also graduating, but from college) overseas. :D Anywhere we want. WOULDN'T THAT COOL?! He better pick somewhere cool :/ (he kinda has majority dibs, but we have to agree. I'm not too picky though ^^).
As for school, I OWNED some tests! Check it: a 122% on Biology (only person to get all the points for the free response out of 110 students, boo ya!), 109% on chemistry (1 of 4 who made 12 points on their free responses out of 13 :D), a 97% on one thing of AP Government essays, and a 107% on the objective part of AP Government. (I also made an 85% on AB Calculus and an 87% on the other AP Government essay, but we'll ignore those ;) ). So if everyone here didn't ALREADY think I was nerdy: they now know. And kinda hate me. Oh well. ><'
I have found that I REALLY hate Calculus though. .-. I haven't actually LEARNED much and I feel like I should be :/. Nonetheless, I managed to SOMEWHAT hold my own on a Quest yesterday. :D (Quiz Test). I was able to figure out a toughie on my own while our really smart class president decided to draw a shark. X) I think he ended up copying mine later. I felt so smart <3 (usually it's the other way around). Really, I knew how to DO most of em, just plugged them in wrong. :/ (TI 89's are such fickle creatures!) I also learned though that there is a BUTTON to differentiate! (All those times people said "plug it in" for explanations now make sense.......)
Also, I've begun sitting with Uniqia for lunch. I THINK I like it there :).
I have some happy/sad news for everyone though (depending on how u think about it). I do NOT have beavers across the street. :( I HAVE WOODCHUCKS!!!!!!!! <3 (apparently they can climb trees too!)
Just to make it clear too, my blog is probably gonna be updated weekly, not daily. I know, I'm sorry T-T. But, I have at LEAST 3 HOURS of homework EVERY night. There's no way I can update. :/ I usually don't even let myself get on the computer so I can't procrastinate. :P
I've been trying to talk to a lot of people (even guys!), but I still don't have friend-friends yet. :/ I'll keep trying.
That--That--That--That's all folks!

Stressful or stressless saturday?
Yesterday was stressful. .-. Actually, kinda a lot of stress lately. But, the only way you can really tell are my pimples XD. Stupid break outs.
I got my schedule changed! That's right, I'm taking SIX AP classes (including AB Calculus) and YES, I am crazy. :D. I like my AP Gov class though. It's interesting, and by interesting I mean entertaining. The teacher's cool, we have people who are the kind that make the teacher think and bring up good points, and the topics need actual brain power. Lots of reading to do, but so far no mindless paper work. But now I have a test on Tuesday and I missed the first week and a half of class. D:
Speaking of tests, I had my first ones. ><' First was AB Calculus. It wasn't that bad, just the one I THINK is bonus gave me issues and I gave up on it. Chemistry was next and was MURDER. LITERALLY MURDER. 1 min and 12 seconds is NOT enough time to do a stoich problem without a calculator!!!! 30 minutes for 25 problems, and only 5 weren't limiting/empirical/math stuff. Mrs. Pitman (my fawesome teacher) was like, "you should be on problem 15 right now." I was on 9. Day 2 of Chemistry was better. The free-response caught me off guard at first because some parts seemed so simple that I made it harder than it was. .-. Biology was on the same day (Friday). Of course, the ONE free-response I hoped we would NOT get........we did. So far, I've made an 82 on the multiple choice, crossing my fingers for the free response.
Other stress has been lunch time. .-. Ting and I used to sit outside, but one day she had said she'd wanted to sit with the German foreign exchange student. We did. ......the problem was I really didn't like the other people at the table. :/ I was sitting sticking out of the table, the odd person out, while the juniors (they were all juniors) spoke really loudly and obnoxiously and I just found it to all be very annoying. So, basically I decided I didn't want to sit there. .......problem is.......where DO I sit? Basically, I went back to the Asian table which is weird without Ting. They're all nice about it though, except they're going through their own group dynamic problems and the table goes silent often and awkwardly. I need a niche. :(
I'm addicted to chocolate milk now. X) I drink so much now, and it makes me so HAPPY. It's like my energy boost. :D Yesterday, I had two bottles instead of one and I was jumping around like a maniac. ^^'
SUGAR!!!!!!!!
On another random note: WE SAW A BEAVER FROM OUR HOUSE. IT LIVED IN A HOLE IN THE NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE!!!!!!! It was so cute X). Kiko wanted to go over and get it, he was watching it from the back porch. Apparently they found out though and chased it away and covered the hole. :( What entertainment will we get now?
Also, I HAD A BUFFALO BURGER TODAY. ^-^ IT WAS YUMMY!!!!!! It had caramelized onions, cheese, and special catchup with cumin in it.
WE'RE GONNA GET A GRILL REAL SOON. <3 (I think tomorrow!) When we do, we're gonna have a grill party for the three of us. :D We're gonna buy EVERYTHING we've been missing and EAT IT ALL UP! NOM NOM NOM. We've been without a grill for at LEAST a year, and I've missed it so much. T-T
No more procrastinating my homework :(

I got my schedule changed! That's right, I'm taking SIX AP classes (including AB Calculus) and YES, I am crazy. :D. I like my AP Gov class though. It's interesting, and by interesting I mean entertaining. The teacher's cool, we have people who are the kind that make the teacher think and bring up good points, and the topics need actual brain power. Lots of reading to do, but so far no mindless paper work. But now I have a test on Tuesday and I missed the first week and a half of class. D:

We Interupt this Broadcast
Yello everybod-ay!
I am soooooo glad it's finally Saturday X). I still have a lot of work to do, but it's nice to have some free time. ^^ Here are the random updates:
I FINALLY CAUGHT A LIGHTNING BUG!!!! Since it was so hot, they weren't out for the longest and I was getting depressed thinking they didn't come to my area. Eventually though, I began to see one or two sparingly. The problem is they are super smart!!! D: I mean, really smart. As soon as I would run after one, it'd fly too high. Normally, lightning bugs never flew higher than over fence level, but here they go above roofs! Unfair. But finally, just a couple of days ago, I caught one :) I'm so happy X).
Drama: Well I decided I wanted another schedule change. (I'm so indecisive ><') This time it was because I realized that National AP Scholar requires fours on 8 AP test, and with my current schedule I'll have a total of 7 classes. I figured, what's one more? (Yes, that's not a rational thought but oh well.) However, that means I have to score at LEAST a 4 on ALL my tests this year. .-. Fun, fun, fun. So I wanted to switch my Gov class to AP. The problem was though, that I would have to switch my Biology class. In case you don't remember, that's one of the few classes I actually have friends in, so I didn't want to. It's taken a few days, but I [think I] finally got to switch English instead. Ironically, in the time it's taken to switch, I've made friends in both English and regular Government. So now I'll have to leave them. :(
Speaking of AP tests, I found something out. (If you read my google status, then you know what I'm about to say :P). First off, I was happy when I found out AP tests are FREE here in AR (compared to $60 a pop in TX) but the other day I found out that you also get PAID $100 for every test you pass! SERIOUSLY?! Tell me that's not insane. .-.
Now for the sad news: my strawberry is dying T-T. At first I thought it was the intense sun. Mom tried blaming me for not watering it enough (even though I hadn't changed my watering schedule). Dad tried saying I didn't transplant it correctly. Then, just now, he said he realized what the problem was. The soil we used in the transplant is basically mulch and the strawberry is so sensitive to the decomposition of the wood chips it can't take it. Right after I had opened the bag, but before the transplant began, I read that the soil was "not for potted plants." So I freaked out, ran to Mum and told her. She said it'd be fine, but I warned her I'd be super angry if it died. She said sure, whatever, it won't die. Now she's mad that I'm mad at her.
Hopefully, I can transplant it again with REAL soil and it'll survive. <3 We also got a baby cabbage plant today at the farmer's market :D. But now I can't transplant it :/. Mum told me just to go plant it outside in the ground, but the soil is not too great and I refuse to plant it until we have some way of protecting it from Kiko (he pees on all of our plants ><'''). Therefore, we need soil ASAP for the baby cabbage. :)
School has been ok. I've been talking to the people around me. My friends though are still kinda iffy. Ting is still my closest friend. I've gotten closer to Matilde, Uniquea (I think that's how you spell it...), and Mallory. But still. Mom's already like, "You should invite your friends to go to the movies or to lunch on your b-day!" ".....what friends Mom?" We'll see. :P
On a completely random note: I looked HOT on Friday! I've made Friday dress-up day. So I wear fancy-ish clothes. Friday's outfit was this sleeveless black zipper dress. Literally, you zip it on ;). I also had black and white striped tights and boots. (I was gonna wear sandals then remembered I had a lab....) Boy did I look fine! ......and still no guys. :( Ah well.
That's all I can think of right now. I gotta go do some chem and bio homework. TELL ME HOW THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL WAS YOU GUYS!!! And Tut: I may take you up on that offer next semester ;).
We return you to your original broadcast,

Delayed
Wow three days without a post <3 But really, it's just kind of a mix of a) having a lot of hw and less time to myself and b) not having anything to actually report? I think with my busy schedule I will probably update a LOT less, but I'll make sure to write once a week :D Just to keep the updates coming ;)
Ok so stuff that's been going on:
I have a AB AND BC Quest tom! (a group quiz/test) and I am worried for BOTH. (Mostly BC though, cuz I don't know how to do anything so I will rely on all the smart guys in my group ^^'''') I've been having Bio reading quizzes every couple of days.
On Sunday, I finally convinced my mom to cook a fancy meal X) So we had: steak cooked with butter on a bed of whipped potatoes (mashed but fancier), topped with a few grilled asparagus with a side of carrots, mushrooms, and onions cooked in a port wine reduction all drizzled with the reduction. IT WAS HEAVY (the meat was kinda chewy, but it was still just sooooooo yummy :D). On Monday I brought a mini meal of it for lunch.......poor Quiting had just started her cucumber and egg diet (she gets one cucumber and a hard boiled egg for each meal of the day, isn't that nuts?) and she was dying. ><'''
Otherwise, that's all folks. :/ Told you: simple life X).

Friday
Sorry for not updating yesterday y'all. After finally getting home on the last day of my first week at school, I just wanted to chill. So, I did. :) I wanted a marathon of Kitchen Confidential online, ate a BUNCH of chocolate (chocolate chip cookies, chocolate filled pastries, AND chocolate froyo YUM!), and just relaxed. It was kinda nice. I stayed up late, did some HW, and tried to let my aching feet stop working.
Why are my feet aching? I'll let you in on my "lovely" Friday.
Before I start: I just knew I was going to have to do a lot of walking that day. How did I know? I chose to wear high heeled boots. Because they hurt if I walk more than average, I knew I was going to have to that day. But aching feet were just one of my troubles, what really kinda stunk was that Friday became embarrass me day.
Now, that's not necessarily BAD. My day wasn't terrible or anything; it seemed kind of normal. ......But it was kinda like "GROAN". First period (Chemistry): the computer hated me. Therefore I had to stand at the front to use the laptop to register for our hw and I could swear everyone would look over at me. Right after first period, I went down the wrong hallway, meaning MORE walking. In AB calc (2nd period): I totally graphed stuff wrong and I felt like a huge idiot and almost had a mental break down (I mean, if I can't do a simple absolute value graph, how will I survive two calculus classes?). I love my calculus teacher, Mrs. Bain.....but boy is she embarrassing.
Moment 1) During AB class, she asked if I knew how to use the calculator. In front of the class full of juniors. 2) During BC class (3rd period), she ask if I was completely lost yet. We're currently doing derivative stuff and that's the only chapter I worked on during the summer, so I figured out the simple things. So my answer is "No, I kind of know how to do this." She's confused. I explain. "Good for you!" Yay! I'm now the overachiever in the class. Fun. 3) She later ASKS me to find the derivative of a problem, I answer. Her response? "Give her a round of applause everyone! She hasn't even taken AB yet and she know how to do this, which I'm sure one of you guys have forgotten how to." Awkward. 4) Somehow it comes to the point that the class realizes I have her class two periods in a row and they're all like, "what why?" "Because I'm taking both AB and BC." "WHAT? HOW!" "It's like a tutoring class." "So you have double the hw?" "...yes." Now I'm also crazy. 4) Later, I forget my lunch box (which also causes me to do a BUNCH of walking). So, I go back to her class before lunch. ...but she has a class. Right as me and Ting (that's my friend's name btw) are about to leave, Mrs. Bain answers the door. "Oh hi!!!!" She introduces me to the class, I just say I wanna look for my lunchbox, she says go ahead. I make my way through the jungle of juniors (it's an AB class) and she makes another announcement that I have her for two periods. "Tell them what they are!" "uhhh, AB and BC calc." Again: "WHAT? WHY?" then some "Are you smart or something? "Do you tutor?" Basically I grabbed my bag and ran. X)
I love her, but it's like being with a parent/grandma or something.
As for the walking, later I end up having to go get my ID (FINALLY), but I'm basically half running because I have a practice english test next period. Running.......in high heels.......up stairs.........isn't fun. Then, after school, I walked out the wrong door (which turns out is the RIGHT door), so I had to go back and go around. My bus drops me off at the corner like it's supposed to for the first time, and I have to walk home.
But like I said, that's school. :)
